A successor to the Meizu M5 that was launched in China last October, the new M5s sports an aluminium body with a 5.2-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.

Processor, Storage & Camera

The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 processor, coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. For storage, there are two options – 16GB and 32GB, both expandable via microSD cad to up to 128GB.

The new Meizu M5s will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Flyme 6 user interface on top. The battery will be a 3,000 mAh juice pack that supports ‘High-power fast charging’ at 18w current. Meizu claims the 18w system can charge from 0 to 56% in 36 minutes.

There is a physical home button and the mTouch fingerprint scanner on front for security and payment authentication. The dual-SIM phone will support 4G, VoTE, WiFi and Bluetooth.
