Popular leakster Evan Blass has posted pictures of upcoming LG Watch Style in Silver and Rose Gold. The visuals of the Android smartwatch was leaked on Twitter this morning. The post clearly showed the LG Watch Style’s circular display, the rear as well as the elegant straps. The Silver and Rose Gold versions follow a recent report that revealed the first two LG smartwatches to run Android Wear 2.0.
A Venture Beat report earlier mentioned the two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches to be the LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style. A blurry image of the Rose Gold version as well was circulated by press. Both watches are expected to be released at a Google-hosted event on February 9.
LG Watch Sport Specs
In terms of specs, the Sport is rumored to launch with a 1.38-inch circular display and a 480 x 480 pixels resolution. There should be a 4GB storage and 786MB RAM on board. Like the Apple Watch, you will also have a digital crown for navigating the interface. Furthermore, you have a heart rate sensor, 430 mAh battery and support for SIM card.
And with latest Android Wear 2.0 operating system, you can be assured of better speed and a range of other features. An improved UI, standalone apps and ability to access the internet directly over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or cellular will be packed within.
Details on LG Watch Style
Now to the smaller Watch Style, you have a 1.2-inch 360 x 360 pixel display, 512MB RAM and a 240mAh battery. Both the new LG smartwatches will be waterproof. LG Watch Style will also have Android Wear 2.0 pre-installed and will be coming with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Most of these specs and features should be made official when LG announces the smartwatches in few days. Till then, the leaked images should give you an idea of what to expect in terms of aesthetics.
