For all those selfie lovers, here is another smartphone to consider. Gionee has just launched its latest ‘selfie-focused’ S6s.
Priced at Rs 17,999, the handset will be exclusively available on Amazon. The high point of the device is its 8MP front camera which promises to offer high-quality selfies.
The Chinese handset-maker’s new phone is expected to have a metal body and front-facing flash module to enhance low-light selfie performance. It has hardware capacitive navigation keys and fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. That is how much known from the teaser image shared by the company.
Rest of the features include 3,130 mAh battery, 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Gionee S6s also features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1920×1820 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor. The handset offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by installing a microSD card.
Joining the likes of the Oppo F1s, this selfie focused phone has also incorporated various shooting modes and features for perfect selfies.
Noticeably, the Chinese smart phone company had launched the Gionee S6 back in November last year, and brought it to India this February at a price of Rs. 19,999.
The original Gionee S6 sported a 5.5-inch HD Super Amoled display, a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB), 4G LTE connectivity, and a 3150mAh battery.
